A little love for the Mini-14

While the AR-15 is now the undisputed king of the civilian semi-auto rifle market, there is a segment of the gun-buying population who will always prefer the curves and contours of the Ruger Mini-14 over the more angular feel of most ARs.
The Mini-14 does have a reputation for mediocre accuracy, but in recent years, Ruger has allegedly made improvements to the design, most notably the addition of a thicker barrel.
The Mini will likely never outsell the AR, but will always have a sort of “cult” following.
